Your Data Stays in Its Workspace.
Every workspace is isolated in the database itself by row-level security, and identities are never joined across workspaces. The application runs under its own restricted role, never as a superuser, and the tests run that way too.
Your Data Stays Where You Put It.
Data residency is a setting on each workspace, not a clause in a contract. Storage and processing stay in the region you choose, and a request that region can’t honour is refused rather than quietly sent somewhere else.
Nothing Leaves Without Permission.
Every call to an outside service, whether AI, validation or enrichment, goes through one governed gateway: residency checked, the provider approved for that purpose, the least data necessary, and every call logged. A refusal is recorded as a refusal, never as a fact about a person.
AI on a Short Leash.
AI assistance is optional and controlled by policy on each workspace. It can offer a second opinion. It can’t merge, can’t approve, and is never presented as certainty.
An Audit Trail That Can’t Leak.
The audit log is append-only and holds references, not personal data. The database itself rejects an audit entry that tries to carry a name, email, phone number or address.
Erasure You Can Explain.
Uploaded files are encrypted with a key unique to each workspace, and destroying the key erases them. Database records are deleted and de-identified. We tell you exactly which method applies to what, because the difference matters to a regulator.
